About Ellie
Dr. Ellie Bennett is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a graduate of the University of Southern California's orthodontic residency program. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific and is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. In her three years of practice, she has built Ellie Orthodontics into one of South Orange County's most trusted orthodontic practices, serving patients across San Clemente, Rancho Mission Viejo, and the surrounding communities.
What sets Dr. Ellie apart is her commitment to airway-focused, functional orthodontics. Rather than treating teeth in isolation, she evaluates how alignment, jaw development, and breathing work together. How you breathe affects how you grow, sleep, and feel. This whole-picture approach is especially important for children, where early intervention can shape development in ways that reduce the need for more complex treatment later. It's a level of care that goes well beyond straightening teeth.
Dr. Ellie brings a family legacy to her practice. With over 50 years of dental care in Orange County running through her roots, she grew up understanding that the best patient experiences are built on trust, warmth, and long-term relationships. That philosophy shows in the way her team runs both offices: unhurried appointments, honest treatment plans, and a front desk that actually picks up the phone.
Whether you're a parent bringing in a 7-year-old for a first evaluation, a teen starting Invisalign, or an adult who's been putting off treatment for years, Dr. Ellie meets every patient where they are. Her goal is simple: give you a smile that looks great, functions well, and lasts.
